USC Deep Brain Stimulation (DBS) program in Southern California. The DBS program at USC is a unique collaboration of the Departments of Neurology, Neurosurgery, Psychiatry, and Psychology. The staff includes adult and pediatric neurologists, neurosurgeons, psychiatrists, nurse practitioners, clinical psychologists, neuropsychologists, and social workers. Our goal is to provide the highest quality care to patients considering DBS for the treatment of Parkinson’s disease, Essential Tremor, Dystonia, and refractory Obsessive Compulsive Disorder (OCD), while conducting cutting-edge research in these and other disorders. We are also a National Parkinson Foundation Center of Excellence.

The USC Comprehensive Stroke and Cerebrovascular Center provides a wide range of services, using the latest medical, surgical, and interventional techniques, covering all aspects of stroke. The multi-disciplinary team is prepared to meet the needs of patients with acute stroke and other serious neurological and neurosurgical conditions by providing immediate, advanced treatment and neurocritical care.
The USC Memory and Aging Center at Keck Medicine of USC in Los Angeles provides the most advanced diagnostic and treatment services available for Alzheimer’s disease, other types of dementias and diseases related to aging. The center includes the memory clinic, the National Institutes of Health, Alzheimer’s Disease Research Center (ADRC) and two California Alzheimer’s Disease Centers. For more than 30 years, Keck Medicine of USC physicians and researchers have made major contributions to understanding Alzheimer’s disease, vascular brain injury and memory problems. Our team includes neurologists, psychiatrists, psychologists, physician assistants, nurses and social workers, all collaborating on diagnosis, treatment and research.
