Congressional Stories of Family Caregiving – Nov. 7th

Your members of Congress will share their stories of Family Caregiving on Nov. 7th. This means more awareness of caregiver issues on a federal level. Thanks to The National Alliance for Caregiving, the Gerontological Society of America, AARP, the Alzheimer’s Association, and the John A. Hartford Foundation for their lead in making this issue brief a reality. Like the majority of family caregivers across the United States, senators and representatives juggle the demands of family life, work, and caregiving. This lunch briefing will highlight caregiving stories, including those of congressional members, in an effort to raise awareness of the need for action to support and assist family caregivers.
