Condemning Anti-Asian Racism

Condemning Anti-Asian Racism

Dear Family Caregiver Community,

We at the USC Family Caregiver Support Center (FCSC) / Los Angeles Caregiver Resource Center (LACRC) stand in solidarity with all Asian, Asian American and Pacific Islander community members in condemning all acts of violence and hatred.

While acts of racist violence and prejudice have been directed against these communities before, the recent increase in incidents is disturbing. For over 30 years the USC FCSC/LACRC has worked hard to support all our family caregivers in their journey to overcome barriers. We welcome ideas from our community that unify our actions to ensure safety and security for all Asian, Asian American, and Pacific Islander community members. As with all injustices, we must stand together to stop anti-Asian violence and hatred.

The USC FCSC/LACRC community is committed to diversity, equity, and inclusion in our work with family caregivers. With this in mind, we want to share a link to a few Los Angeles Community Organizations: https://apass.usc.edu/resources/community/

If any of our caregivers experience or witness racist acts of violence or hatred – please notify your local law enforcement agency.

Stay well and safe,
