Your action has brought us closer to our goal. Almost 7 years ago, the LACRC budget was cut by 74%. As a result of the state cut, respite support for caregivers in LA County became almost non-existent. Thank you for your letters about SB 1377 (Caregiver Resource Centers Respite Bill). The Senate Committee on Health Policy voted in favor of restoring funding for respite throughout the CA Caregiver Resource Center system.
