The Coalition, in collaboration with the California Partnership to End Domestic Violence, is hosting a 3-part training webinar for parents, caregivers, organizers, and advocates on Paid Family Leave. Each webinar session will be presented separately in English and in Spanish on April 17, April 22, and May 5. Topics include the basics of Paid Family Leave, paid sick days and adjacent laws, how to apply and help others apply for leave, best practices in education and outreach, and using our new bilingual Paid Family Leave Training Toolkit. We will also discuss these laws in the context of the COVID-19 pandemic. CEUs for Registered Nurses and CERPs for IBCLCs will be available.
